I was thinking about all the telemarketers who need to “cold call” and specifically the telemarketer who gets so down with having to “spray and pray” to get even the smallest results.
It reminded me of a presentation I gave last November at The Cranfield School of Management called ”Make Every Call Count”. In the morning I had provided some 1:1 coaching on how to “start conversations from cold” (a much easier way than “cold calling”!). Both were very well received and Vivien Harrington who was the Director Of Alumni Relations at the time gave me this excellent testimonial:
